I've missed you all terribly these past few weeks... MANHUNT is in the process of expanding our office space to accommodate our ever-growing team. And, because the HR department promised to bring me candy if I posted this: be sure to check out our job listings if you're in the Greater Boston area!

So, yeah... anyways... with all of the hustle and/or bustle around here, I've been negligent of my blog duties. But don't worry, I'm back and you can all take a deep cleansing breath and await my next paragraph of fabulous text.

Let's start off with a link. Not just any link. THE link that will score you MANHUNT promotional emails and scores of hot guys at your beck and call. (OK, not so much on the scores of hot guys -- but you never know!) Here's what to do:

Pop on over to our sign up form, type your email address and you're done! See, that WAS easy! And, we'll never sell, rent, or distribute en mass via paper airplanes your email address or any personal information. Cross my heart and hope to die! We'll only use it to make sure that you're given the VIP treatment and notified whenever anything MANHUNT is on its way.

MANHUNT.net is 7 years old on April 1^st, 2008! How exciting! We've grown from a site that featured just a few hundred men from Massachusetts to a US phenomenon to the #1 internationally recognized site for men to meet men.

It seems like just yesterday, we were logging in to a site that looked a little like this...

And now look at us! With a record of over 50,000 men online, we've sure grown up from our humble beginnings here in the Greater Boston area. And we'd like to thank all of our fantastic members who have made it possible.

Our team here has grown by leaps and bounds... our office is bustling 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with our ever-expanding team of Customer Service representatives, our dozens of engineers and programmers and our globe trotting Marketing folks... all of whom share one goal... to continue making MANHUNT.net the only place you need to go to find what you're looking for. Of course, that assumes you're not coming to MANHUNT looking for groceries. Sadly, we haven't yet entered the produce market, though I'm aware of some of the puns you might all be thinking. But... if what you ARE looking for happens to involve meeting the man that's right for you, we're proud to be of service and look forward to making your experience second-to-none as we continue to roll out improvements to our product line in the coming months.

So, maybe next year, I'll be blogging about our newly-established MANHUNT.net pickle farm. But, probably not. I do, however, look forward to writing a "look back" since this post was written. Anyone care to venture a guess as to how many guys we'll have online by then?

Howdy ladies and gents! I told you I'd be back with another one of those blog-rockin'-beats. (That's a really terrible attempt at making a song by "Prodigy" relevant and amusing.) In any event, I just wanted to provide you with a couple of delightful factoids about everyone's favorite site.

OK, so maybe we're not *everyone's* favorite site. But it's certainly on my browser history more frequently than it is not. And we're doing even MORE nifty work to make sure that each and every one of our users out there have our site as close to the top of their history list as possible.

So, you know how attempting to run a mile while carrying two burlap sacks of potatoes is significantly more of a challenge than running a mile while having your secret celebrity crush waiting for you at the finish line? Well, when it comes to loading web pages quickly and effectively, our team of engineers are always working to find ways to reduce the amount of potatoes we're running around with.

In the coming weeks, we look forward to providing you with some performance enhancements so you can maneuver through our veritable cornucopia of men online!

And with the hot promotions run by our Marketing and Promotions departments and our world class Customer Service standing behind it all, we're sure that you'll find whatever it is you're looking for faster than a speeding bullet. But seriously, folks... life at Online Buddies, much like any other tech company, is fast paced, cutting-edge, exciting and challenging (and if this sounds like fun to you, check out some of our job openings). We're glad you've taken the time to stop by and learn more about us.

My name is Tim, Product Manager here at OLB, and I wanted to set up a blog for a few reasons. Firstly, we get lots of suggestions from our users. Thank you, and keep 'em coming. I know that a lot of times, suggestions are sent in to giant companies and subsequently ignored and tossed aside, but I can assure you, that's not the case here. So, fire off your suggestions to our team at suggestions@online-buddies.com. While I can't guarantee I can write pithy and amusing replies to every message, I can promise that the result of your suggestions play a part in determining what we plan to offer.

So, about that whole "what we're going to offer" stuff... a lot is going on behind the scenes in all of our departments. Our site design has remained fairly consistent over the years, but our supporting technology has grown tremendously to keep up with our worldwide expansion. Even though there aren't flashy changes every few weeks, rest assured that every department here at Online Buddies is working to keep MANHUNT the best place to meet men online. And, with over 40,000 members online most nights, you sure have a wide selection to choose from!
