Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager manages all member communication including both external and internal product communications. The Marketing Communications Manager will also serve as the main contact for key vendors and business partners.

Essential duties include...

  • Schedule, proofread, perform quality control tests, and send all external and internal website communications;
  • Manage all automated communication strings sent via ExactTarget and internal mail systems, including weekly newsletters;
  • Cultivate and maintain a consistent voice and tone in all website communications, appropriate to various company brands;
  • Ensure that all mass emails and promotions are effective and represent the company in the best light possible;
  • Work with translation services to manage localization requests from the Technology and Marketing teams;
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including the Product, Event Marketing, Social Media, and Advertising teams to create messaging around website updates, exclusive offers, promotions and other value adds;
  • Participate in and contributing to staff meetings, brainstorming sessions and general operations;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least four years of marketing experience, with at three years experience with internet marketing.

Skills and Competencies

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be customer focused;
  • Must have good time and project management skills;
  • Must be highly organized and posses high attention to detail;
  • Must be able to work well independently with minimal guidance;
  • Must be able to adapt and react to last minute changes;
  • Bilingual fluency in both written and spoken English/Spanish strongly preferred.
