MANHUNT Introduces MANCAM™ Video Chat: Chat with no hands

CAMBRIDGE, MA:  Ken Herron, Chief Marketing Officer at Online Buddies Inc., parent company of the global online media brand MANHUNT, announced today the launch of MANCAM™ video chat. Developed by MANHUNT Labs in partnership with a leading video chat service provider, MANCAM™ video chat enables MANHUNT’s members around the world to easily connect with each other “live” before meeting in person; and offers a fun alternative when meeting in person is not possible.  The official public launch of MANCAM™ video chat will take place Friday, August 8, 2008.

MANCAM™ video chat will be offered free for the first 30 days to MANHUNT’s Full and Limited Access members.  After the first 30 days, Full Access members will be able to send chat invitations by clicking an IM (instant message) button on a profile or mail message. Limited Access members will be able to receive invitations, but will not be able to send chat invitations to other members.  While MANCAM™ video chat includes audio and video capability, members who do not wish to cam, can use the new and improved text chat.

Using leading edge audio and video technology, MANCAM™ video chat is faster and more reliable than traditional webcam hosting sites.  MANHUNT members have two different membership options: Full Access and Limited Access.

Designed to be easy to use, MANCAM™ video chat offers audio message alerts and “Block List” options. When invited to chat, a member may accept or decline a message. If he declines, the interested party will not be notified of his choice, just that he hasn’t responded ─ good news for nice guys who hate breaking hearts.  If he accepts, MANCAM™ video chat will connect the members for an unlimited, private one-on-one video chat session.  Popular guys can open multiple windows, and engage in video chats with several men at the same time.
